I am a Proud South Ward Resident running for City Council in this upcoming election on May 10, 2022. Just like you, our quality of life in our ward is my priority. As a single mother to a beautiful four year old, it has been my mission to make sure that he lives in a community that he can thrive in and be proud of. My neighborhood association has worked relentlessly with the City of Newark to abate complaints plaguing our community. Illegal dumping, excessive trash, absentee landlords, drug dealers, addicts, and gun violence are a few of the top issues I have assisted with.  It's imperative to me that I start at the root of community, creating safe spaces for our children and elders.
